Offering four outstanding house designs including a selection 1, 2 and 3-bedroom detached and semi-detached bungalows.

Each home draws its design inspiration from tradition to blend seamlessly into the local environment and provide a modern way of living. The official ribbon-cutting ceremony along with the planting of a tree and placement of a time capsule, took place during an opening event, attended by reservation and early bird holders and notable community leaders. The Mayor of Preston, Councillor Sue Whittam, joined the event and formally opened the development. She remarked, “I am pleased to have the honour of opening the Brookdale housing development by Applethwaite. The development is meeting the needs of the community with homes specifically for the over 55s in a well-connected community alongside neighbours who can share experiences”.

The open day featured tours showcasing the developments show home, our brand new 3-bedroom detached home, The Yewdale, which is fully dressed to demonstrate the lifestyle these homes have to offer and the things Applethwaite believe make all the difference to your living experience. Interest parties can contact the Applethwaite sales advisor to arrange a show home viewing.

Managing Director of Applethwaite, Tim Rackham, said “Grimsargh is a thriving community which we are excited to be part of. The locality has plentiful local services and activities, and we are proud to bring forward our Brookdale development of 48 bungalows specifically designed for the over 55s in mind”.
